Lights!

We brought home a Christmas tree today; I thought it was so neat that I exclaimed "Wow!" over and over again. I also kept sniffing it, and brought out my friends Rabbit, Nemo, Elmo, Bear and Dog to have them smell it too. I enjoyed the game of my parents putting up ornaments, me pulling down all the ones within my reach, and me running around the house with them. My favorite ornament is the violin; I like plucking the strings! Now when I wake up, I run straight to the Christmas tree and ask Mommy for "Lights!"

Gobble gobble!

Wo! That turkey is almost as big as me!

Behold my first Thanksgiving casualty. The ball (before and after) that I left in the oven earlier that day melted down when my parents preheated the oven! Boy, were they surprised!

First time-out

Mommy put me in my first time-out. Thus far I haven't gotten into any real trouble, because whatever I've done has been out of experimentation, not testing limits. But recently I have become interestd in scaling the railing in our split level home, and I've giggled when Mommy tells me "No! Dangerous" and pulls me off. I think it's a game and keep doing it, and she keeps pulling me down. She finally put me in a time-out for ignoring her. To Mommy's surprise, I actually sat in the chair the entire time! It will probably take several more time-outs for me to fully understand that this isn't just a one time deal.

I'm now 22 months old, all 21 pound 6 ounces, 32 inches tall, size 5 shoe of me!

Vacation to Cabo

We rented a house and spent a relaxing vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with Kenzo, Daniel, their parents and Aunty Jeannie. We spent most of our time playing in the pool and beach. See pictures from the trip here.
