I'm 'Bastian

Playing pretend is my favorite game these days, including pretending that I'm 'Bastian! I tell Daddy to swaddle me as I cry "Waaa waaa waaa!"

My beach vacation

Cabo San Lucas was super fun! We shared a house with Victoria, Tor, Madison and their respective parents, and we enjoyed dancing and playing lots of pretend games like salon and Monopoly money. I ran to the pool so that I could ride the car and fire engine floaties, much to my parents' surprise. My favorite night was when we "took over" a restaurant in town, running around the pool table and chasing Daddy or Mommy around screaming "Boo!". Then when some Mexican guitarists played, we three girls stopped to watch in awe, swaying to the music. When they finished their song, we clapped enthusiastically and yelled "Brava!"

I'm a good helper

I've been a really great helper with my baby brother, helping feed and burp Sebastian. I also like to read him stories.

I want to play

Now that I can talk, and have grown more comfortable around some people, I love to play! So much so that I always say "I nee nee [don't] want to take a nap. I want to play." Even though everyone else - Sebastian, Mommy and Daddy - fall asleep while trying to get me to sleep, I am still playing quietly by myself ...
