New York with the baby
New York with a baby was a different experience, but still a blast. By keeping Isabella on PST, we could still have playdates during the day and stay up 'til 3 am without seriously paying for it the next day!
The best part of the trip was just hanging out with old friends. My favorite pic, the fake smile:
It's nice to know that all of us roomies haven't changed after all this time. You forget how much you miss people until you see them.
See the rest of my pictures from the trip, Dev's famous Orange Wall shots, Kitty's photos from Sanjai's wedding, and LJ's from Jeollado.

Toddlers in NYC
New York magazine and this site both have some good info about traveling in New York City with baby. In addition, here are some suggestions that I got from friends of what to do in NYC with a toddler:
Outdoor
Central Park Zoo
Carousel in Central Park
Bryant Park
Washington Square Park
Bronx Zoo
Madison Square park (26th & Madison) - nice playground that's usually packed but pretty big play space for NY standards
Staten Island ferry
Statue of Liberty
Indoor
Museum of Natural History - mammal halls, dinosaur exhibit, butterfly conservatory
Children's Museum of Manhattan - upper west side
Brooklyn Children's museum
Juilliard Pre-College student recitals in Paul Hall on Saturday, free and open to the public
Chelsea piers - indoor toddler play space like Gymboree
Stores
Toys R Us - huge, in times square, have rides, etc.; kind of a bigger version of the old FAO Schwartz
FAO Schwartz - world of toys
If during Christmas, Rockefeller Center, holiday window displays at Saks Fifth Avenue, etc.
Borders or Barnes and Noble - read books and play with the toys
Time Warner building - huge, nice indoor open space which gives kids a chance to run around
Scholastic Store - in Soho; fantastic books and toys
Other
- Kids in general love the city because it's so exciting and dynamic
- Subways are fun if your kid loves trains but you have to worry about carrying lots of gear; only some stations have escalators and/or escalators
- Cab - it's OK to lap them; this would be the easiest way to get around

Speak to a human
Ever get trapped in voice mail hell, tearing your hair out trying to figure out how to talk to a live human? Here is a good cheat sheet to help you figure out how.
