18 month measurements

I measured 30 1/2 inches (10th percentile) tall, 18 pounds 14 ounces (less than 5%), 45 cm (less than 5%). I'm small, but my doctor feels good that I'm growing along my "small dude" curve!

Toddler days

Gone are the sweet and easy baby days; welcome to the taskmaster toddler phase! I haven't figured out how to talk yet, so much of my communication is in grunts. I say "eh EH! eh EH!" and swing my body back and forth trying to get what I want. My parents try to point and figure out what I'm looking for. If they give me something I don't want, I fling it with such force and velocity! It's gotten to be so frustrating that I really want to throw everything within my reach sometimes. There are too many dents on our floor now as a result. My Mom is convinced I'm going to be a baseball pitcher one day. I've also become really clingy to my Mom recently. Every time she leaves my sight, I CRY, crawl around desperately to look for her, or stand looking longingly through the gate until she returns. Then when she comes back, I just want her to hold me all the time. But once I've gotten enough of her, I can't sit or stand still. I need to be non-stop on the move!

Overall, I'm still a easy going smiley dude. For instance, I wake up and hang out in my crib patiently until my parents come get me. My parents are so happy that I let them sleep in!
