Give me more credit
My teachers were very complimentary to me at my first parent-teacher conference. They told my parents that I had excellent concentration for a child my age. I was so fascinated by the Montessori activities that I was always looking longingly, almost begging the teachers, to let me do them. Finally, they did and I picked up on all of the activities quickly. I love the puzzles, but my favorite by far is the pouring activity. I can sit and do this for quite a long time. I am interested and participate in all of the group activities like story and circle time too. The teachers were quite impressed by how smart I was.
My parents were flattered, but quite surprised by the teachers' comments. Maybe now they'll stop calling me "slow".
